Biodiversity and cultural diversity are two things that live in harmony. If one fails then the other is sure to follow. The reasoning for this is due to the cultural diversity relying on the various climates, zones, terrains, plants and animals on the earth in order to keep their culture strong. For example, Language of 6000 different kinds in the world, is based on culture. If the tribe of the desert lands undergoes a sudden flood, destroying their lands, that culture dies, then so does the language, and their ancient tongues become lost, making future generations changed or dead. Every part of the biological makeup of the earth is relied on by culture in order to survive. As a whole, every single individual including you and I, are culturally diverse. This is due to where we were born, our families and our own religious views, our ancestors, and our homelands. This is often a reason for judgment to be passed on by others, based off their diversity in their very own specifics. Some would say that to have the same language and culture would be an easier thing to accomplish.
Biodiversity is the different lands, terrain, animals, and plants. These are all different dependent on where you go on earth. A plant you find in Arizona, would not be found in Australia for example. These are all biologically diverse, giving each state, country, continent, their own unique landscape, plants, and types of animals. The Kangaroo in Australia would not be found in California, just as the culture of the Navajo tribe in Arizona would not be found in the deserts of Egypt. Culture is the diversity of tradition, religion, and a way of life in each individual. While one tribe may pray to the river god for clean and prosperous crops, another tribe may pray to the god of soil, relying on their religious views and following through with a ritual, sacrifice, or dance to solidify their beliefs.
In Australia, They are one of the most culturally diverse Countries in the world. They too struggled to achieve being able to live harmoniously, with respect and cooperation regardless of religion, culture or language. Their was crisis to try and come to an agreement in this aspect. A solution was made. The Diverse Australia Program is primarily a community-based strategy for all Australians which aims to address issues of cultural, racial and religious intolerance by promoting respect, fairness, inclusion and a sense of belonging for everyone. This Program was launched on 28 January 2009 to replace the Living in Harmony program. It was created to promote the following:

- the importance of all Australians respecting one another regardless of cultural, racial or religious differences
- the fair treatment of all Australians, encouraging people to recognise that our interactions should be accepting of, and responsive to, each other’s backgrounds, circumstances, needs and preferences
- opportunities for people to participate equitably in Australian society and to understand the rights and responsibilities that we share as part of that society
- a sense of belonging for everyone by helping communities work towards a spirit of inclusiveness and a shared identity as Australians, and
- the benefits of living in a multicultural society. ( Australia's Cultural and Linguistic Diversity)
